.DAWN TO DUSK - THE MUSINGS OF CHER #DAWNtoDUSK #MUSINGSofCHER
Hi Friends....
I have been pretty busy so I apologize for not being here.
I have created a new project called the MUSINGS of CHER....pretty much this is a general conversation between two entities...and I stress entities as it could be people or a general soul searching force....Whether you are in a relationship...wish to have a relationship with another....at long distance from your perspective love...or whether your physical close proximity still has a chasm in place.
So....I would really like to get your feed back on this one.....I will post them individually and they are fairly self explanatory.

CHANGING HUES
I want to sit with you
talk with you
become you
share your passion
your life
I want to share experiences
no ulterior motives
highs and lows
anything goes
just let me
pour a glass of wine
dip my finger
into the red liquid
of your heart
trace your lips
stained with the
hurt and pain
of your life
let me
quench your thirst
for freedom
freedom from the mundane
the haggard
sucking life’s air
blackened spirits
let me
exorcise
lurking demons
holding you prisoner
let me
free you from the cells
replace the bars
with windows
of my heart
let us
sit and watch
the setting sun
rising
day to night
night to day
nature’s canvas
let us
paint the sky with new colours
reds and yellows
brilliant hues
no blues
let us
hold the brush
at both ends
both hands
our hands
stroking our
centres
brushstrokes
colour within the lines
blend outside
let us
become living art
the master becomes the student
the student
trades places
with the master
painting by numbers
oils slide
mixing
salty streaks
heats the surface
burn the covers
contracts dissolve
fresh inks applied
let us
create our masterpiece

ELF
across the winds
a cry is heard
from the heart
of a man
a man unafraid to admit
to the troubling demons
inside
his psyche is torn
shredded
society’s standards
duplicitous
their morals
judgmental
surveillance of life
he cries
painfully
holds
his throbbing
chest
his hands
gripping
reaching
stability
not found in a bottle
not prescribed
he cries
listen
listen to the silence
no answers
listen
listen to the silence
one answers
whimpers
reaches from the ether
touches the other
shoulders the weeper
unexpected
the soothing clasp
grasps
the sensual touch
tangible
yet immeasurable
bathed in her glow
mellifluous
slow
lying wrapped in her arms
cocooned
cuddled
satisfied

Dear Friends
The last two weeks have been very busy as I am chief cook, bottle washer, PR consultant and everything/person you must have in the launch of a book. Phew!!!
So please forgive me as I have not been able to place the new information here for you.
First of all, I have created a dedicated page on Facebook for the anthology

The work is available on Smashwords https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/378619

The first prints should be available by the weekend of December 10th and if reserve prior to December 15th the cost will be Bds $25 as opposed to the retail $28.95.
